About This Game

Built exclusively for VR, Fighting Moore combines reality with fantasy as you fight your way through five unique levels to stop the unstoppable, a builder who has discovered Moore's Law. As Fighting Moore is balanced around smooth locomotion in order to increase immersion and push forward VR combat mechanics, there is no teleport movement option available.

Physics-Centric Fast-Paced Melee and Magic Combat System.
Fighting Moore takes the best of what feels great in VR, such as firing a bow, and tweaks the interaction so the player has confidence in the outcome of their actions. For example, a bow now fires a spell from the ground-up in the direction the player shoots. Each attack is developed to allow the player to feel confident in what tools they have at their disposal in any given situation.

Real-Time Execution of Back-to-Back Unique Spells.
Fighting Moore focuses on minimizing the friction from changing between weapons and spells in VR. With its innovative UI design, seamlessly switch in less than a second between five-unique attacks at any-given time. Combined with the focus on control over each attack, the player is able to feel in complete control over every situation.

Unique Environment Mechanics.
Fight your way through five levels, each with game-play focused around the environments unique mechanics, including fully-destructible mazes, narrow paths, real-time destructible ground, interactive grass and candle-lit fights. There is also an endless sandbox mode available after completing all five environments to test how long you can survive.

Innovative UI System and Minimized Motion Sickness.
With four stationary points for the player to ground their focus to, the UI design is aimed to help alleviate those prone to motion-sickness when using locomotion in VR.

Frequently Asked Questions.

After getting use to the UI and weapons, the spells and weapons available let you feel good about split-second decision making when fighting tons of enemies at once. The attacks/spells are similar to DotA in a way -- they each have a fairly specific utility though they aren't extremely flashy. The levels are really colorful -- sometimes in a very over-the-top way, but they are generally pleasant to be apart of. Overall, the game starts out slow as they spoon-feed you the mechanics then picks up around the very end of Chapter 1 and Chapters 3/4 when the level mechanics change dramatically and the complexity of balancing this with combat becomes a tough task. Lots of content for the price although at times repetitive. Full disclosure: I am a friend of one of the people on the dev team

Watch my video here https://youtu.be/QrWBC_CAiII Played using the Valve Index. Graphics are damn decent and the colours pop out at you. Somethings look flat and 2D but that is normal sometimes in VR. An example is the wheel magic, which looks very flat on one side. Most impressive is the monster. Their large and menacing! The physic and animations are not the best. This is noticeable on the tutorial lady show you how to play and telling you the story. She is all over the place with at some times hilarious animations. Audio is good. The voice is amateur, but funny. Many times the voice over will loop and drive you a little nuts. "Use the hammer to break the wall" is one. That dialogue will keep looping till you break that wall! Gameplay is nothing more than smashing, dodging and using magic on your foes. It seem boring, but it isn't. It is really addictive fun. There is 5 chapters and one Moore Royal (not got a clue what that is). Every chapter gets harder as you got. Overral is an O...

This is a fairly straight forward combat game, at least at first. You have 5 attacks – a hammer, a meteor, a spinning wheel which quickly moves you across the map and two spells you fire from a bow. The best part of the attack system is being able to pick what attack to use quickly. There are around 10 enemies you face (though I still haven't seen some from the trailer), some spell casters, some healers, some warriors. The same strategy of attacking, dodging, and attacking is pretty consistent versus most of them but things get more complex once you hit chapter 3. You often face 5-6 enemies at a time but there is a bullet time mechanic to help out. Most of the first chapter is pretty tame, as you only have two or three attacks, though it picks up at the end. The second chapter is more fun as you have the bow unlocked and always have an attack available. The third chapter is my favorite – you are dodging asteroids which break the ground under you as you kill enemies – it's al...

Pros: Very colorful, pleasant environment Different way to grab spells, which becomes natural over time Only played first chapter -- there are five. Ends with pretty cool puzzle/fight Cons: Loading takes forever Takes time getting use to the spell system

This game is wonderful! Mechanics wise it's wonderful! It's smooth, but it took me a min to figure out how to properly cast. I spent the first few tries just wandering around. I will play to complete all chapters now.
