FEATURES

Play through two different game modes- Vanilla & Old School
Steal back the food from the evil King Fatass!
Choose to bring the food back to your cultist masters, or use it for yourself to spend at shops.
Collect 22 different weapons, most with multiple uses and powers. POWERS, I SAY!
Kill a variety of enemies: Bats, Soldiers, Knights, Fish, Wizards, and... Butterflies??
Tackle 6 boss enemies too while you're at it
Use shields to deflect arrows, snowballs, baby insects and more!
Acquire power ups like helmets, dash boost, high jump boots, evil necklaces, magic rings, and etc etc.
Find and use up to 5 different magical wands- That's damn magical, damnit!
An original soundtrack comprised of real guitars, bass, drums, and keyboards.

Now this is a Metroidvania. Lost constantly until I got the lay of the land. Hidden stuff out the butt. Juvenile humor. They don't make'em like this anymore. I would highly recommend this if your a veteran of the genre. The slow movement (until you get the dash ability) and cryptic nature of the map may be overwhelming for those not accustomed to it's more old school sensibilities. But this is truly a hidden gem.
