Beautiful graphics and a very relaxing atmosphere, perfect for short breaks. The hidden-object gameplay isn’t really my thing, but VR support would make this an absolute gem. Lovely soundtrack and intuitive controls — definitely worth checking out if you enjoy cozy, artistic games.

This game is 110% worth it. The soundtrack is perfect and the actual in game quests are educational and exploratory. Although I'll prolly just have the scenery on while I'm Away From Keyboard at my day job or volunteering at the ranch. This game exceeds expectations! 11/10

Visual masterpiece. And a good way to learn photography without needing a fancy DSLR.

Looks great, well paced, reasonably flexible and findable goals. Good variety of activities and special things to find strewn about. *Update after finishing it: ends well, too. My only mild complaint/note is I missed until very late in the game how to use the GPS. I assumed it wouldn't do any good until I found coordinates somewhere. It turned out the somewhere with coordinates was elsewhere on the screen.

This doesn't capture the feel of photography. The DSLR just doesn't feel like the real thing. For a photography game it is visually ugly. It tries to capture the photo realistic aesthetics but don't get close to it. Unreal Engine 5 was a poor choice because it did a lot to decrease performance and not much to improve visuals. You get next-gen lighting and with it lots of artifacts, blurriness, discontinuities, lack of fluidity, and weird stuff that games made on older engines just don't have. And an indie production like this couldn't handle those issues and just shipped the game poorly polished and optimized. I'd rather have simple but beautiful and stunning graphics like in Firewatch. UI is awful. It starts with most locations locked and you have to play "hidden object" to unlock them. :facepalm:

I've only just started with this, but immediately: this is lovely. The VR expansion is going to be stunning based on what I'm seeing here, but it's ridiculously pretty in 4k ultrawide. The music is perfectly pitched: unobtrusive, but characterful. I really like the world design, not just how it looks but how the exploration is done. There are branching paths to find items and locations, but off the beaten track there are also boxes hidden in the trees which unlock new locations. I only had time to play the first 30 minutes right now, but there's no way this somehow becomes bad (unless there's a sudden difficulty spike during a boss fight versus David Bailey). Only complaint: crouching and standing seem to be the same thing, only crouching has slower movement? Maybe there's something I've missed there.

I don't understand why a photography game could being that hard to pass the level of any single map, but anyways this is a good game, maybe just not my type
