This game has a super promising artstyle, but ultimately fails to deliver on a lot of its key elements. Main negatives are that the game more often than not feels terrible to play, with more resource management than a modern survival horror and very little thought into its implementation (looking at you, hunger bar health bar suspicion bar sanity bar lamplighting resource currency and relationship meter). Additionally, boss fights feel terrible to play, dialogue choices feel random and difficult to understand, and certain glitches can ruin your save (the final resource grind before the last stage also has the shop glitched preventing you from stocking up on items needed to simply PROGRESS TIME without dying of hunger). For a game that looks and sounds so lovingly crafted, this also feels incredibly half-baked and undeserving of its pricetag.

An artfully crafted narrative, with increasingly tedious gameplay. Music, menus, and visuals are all great and complement the game’s themes and atmosphere very well. In the beginning, the gameplay is rather simple and somewhat charming. It drags near the end of a first playthrough, around 12 hours or so. While I think the story is fairly decent and worth experiencing, I cannot recommend anyone put themselves through experiencing it fully. The lack of quality of life features and tedious gameplay required to experience all this game has to offer is absolutely nauseating. You're much better off watching the endings on YouTube. this is easily the most aesthetically beautiful game i have ever played - i do not imagine myself finding something that fits my personal taste as perfectly ever again aside from the aesthetics, it also has everything anyone could ever want in a video game: an interesting story, puzzles, and lesbians

I bought this game based on the reviews... At first the presentation and art style is great. But After 9 hours playing it... I had enough... The game itself is kind of bad , repetitive and HARD (there are tons of aspects inside the game that can trigger GAME OVER). I can foretell that players will feel frustration if they are not careful managing resources. The story is predictable; if you are curious about it ... look for it in Youtube (easy to explain in less of a minute) along with all its endings. You've been warned.

Art wise and music wise this game is peak. Story wise it's somewhat cliche but overall well executed. Game play wise it's on the weaker side and overtly difficult/unfair in several locations. Overall, I enjoyed my first playthrough. P.S. look up a spoilers free ending guide prior to starting the game because you can literally lock yourself to a bad ending and I wouldn't personally want to replay this entire game because the gameplay isn't great.
