Not a good survivors game. It is inconsistent and low level of fun that expires very quickly as there is no real way to make a "build" that is satisfying to mow through enemies with in this game. Unnecessarily complicated menu design and navigation - you are bound to forget where is anything in this game the moment you finish a session. Too much pointless grind, there is no interest in unlocking anything just because of how much rubbish there is with no clear information on what it does - the most moronic belief of "You should try out every single thing!" influences this game's core No real feeling of impact of dealing damage on enemies or getting damaged. The latter is so poorly signaled to the player that in most occasions the player character dies extremely quickly, it is intentional and vile, done so in order to maximise the number of retries. All of the player character deaths feel like the fault of the developer, which they really are here. Filled with cretinous and p...

About This Game
~ In a time long ago, those with forbidden power over the dead were branded as wretched Boneraisers. Such heathen were hunted, hanged, burnt, and staked, and their remains sealed within sanctified mausoleums. But what those fearfully foolish folk did not realise, is that those whom are already dead, cannot be killed. You are one such filthy Boneraiser! ~
Gameplay
As a reviled Boneraiser you must amass an army of skellies and deamons to fight the endless waves of heroes intent to end your necromantic ways. In this gothic-horror auto-battler rogue-lite Survivor-like, use the bones and souls of slain heroes to raise and upgrade undead minions, and collect powerful relics and spells to turn the tide of war. Unlock meta upgrades to improve your boneraising abilities, but crucially you must also bolster the Godly heroes' forces too in order to gather enough resources to defeat your nemesis King Gigald's crusade!
Features
Boneraising auto-battler action: Dash around avoiding enemies and collecting their bones to raise and upgrade minions who fight for you! Each minion type has their own fighting styles, from melee pulverisers and magical missilers, to supporting hexers and augurs.
Multiple game modes: There's several game modes to keep play fresh. In Mausoleum Awakens you must protect your crypt against King Gigald and his forces, making best use of traps and contraptions you place before the show. There's Necrotic Skirmishes for a quick bash to simply see how long you can last against an ever growing horde of meanies. The Daily/Weekly Challenge were you compete against the world on an equal footing. There's Clashful Cards, a collectable adversarial card game offering respite from endless boneraising. And a full Castle Conquest mode where you travel through various maps choosing your path in a quest to conquer the Queen's Palace!
Relics and Spells: There's not just bones to suck on during the fight. You will find curious Relics with strange boosts and abilities, or Spell Scrolls with powerful attacks or buffs to be used at the perfect time!
Boneraise Lore meta: Between games use collected coins to increase your abilities and boneraising powers, such as learning to raise Enboned Giants and Possessed Deamons. Meta can also be upgraded and refunded, encouraging you to play around and find your perfect meta loadout!
Heroic Force meta: You must also bolster the forces against you too if you wish to survive King Gigald. Why not provoke a Beggar's Revolt, Goblin Looters, or Mercenary Cyclops, and use their bones to raise an ever greater army of dead!
Class Heritage meta: By stealing hero souls you can also learn new abilities and perks for a particular class. Each class offers their own playstyles, from the Liche who prefers quantity over quality, to the Deamologist who favours huge deamonic minions. Or even classes that specialise in raising versions of the enemies themselves!
Steam Leaderboard: Battle your foes, and your friends, to reach first place on the online Steam leaderboard! Even after defeating King Gigald the crusade wars are endless, and only the greatest legion of undead ever assembled will reach the top spot!
~ Can you resist King Gigald's poundings? ~

Wanted to make a bunch of skeleton friends. Game obliged. skeleten/ten
One of the best "survivors" I have ever played. It's crazy that I've never heard of it and that it's so cheap. A must have along with soulstone survivors for any vampire survivors fan!
I wasn't sure what to expect with this one, given the cheap price. But the positive reviews pushed me to buy the game... I'm really pleased I did - it's addictive, has lots to unlock, and has been written with a brilliant sense of humour.

Great take on the "vampire survivors" like games. Polished, runs amazingly on steam deck and has a really good progression system. I love the theme and art style too
One of the best bullet heaven / survivors games I've played. It has many classes to unlock and they change how you play the game; but the general idea is that you are a necromancer, so you deploy minions that do the damage for you. You only focus on avoiding enemies (for the most part). It has a really cool loop because you can upgrade or merge minions in many different ways, and unlocking stuff with the meta progression always feels rewarding. If you like the genre, it's a no brainer, this game is a must!
excellent game at a budget price amazing depth once you get into it
Okay, so I'm very, very new into the game, and almost put it down. Then I got some controls rebound and changed the font and I'm enjoying it and laughing at the awful employment of "ye old English" words. I'd say give it a whirl for the asking price; it's pretty fun. But FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DEV, USE TRADITIONAL CONTROLS. J should not be select. Escape should work as a back button. And make the default font more readable, I beg you.
A bizarre praise: I've been playing this game on my retro handheld (RG406V) using Gamehub (which uses Winlator). And I've downloaded it STRAIGHT from the steam library downloads (which CAN be finicky depending on the game). This game? Runs PERFECTLY. I barely adjusted the settings at all. And it's an awesome game with a real arcade machine sorta vibe on the Vampire Survivors genre (I guess that is a thing now), and it's fun! It has an awesome soundtrack (it looks like several people collaborated on the music, I'm not certain but the music is fantastic) the game looks and feels wonderful, and while I need reading glasses to play this on my RG406V (not the games fault a lot of non-native emulations are like this on this device) I am having a friggen BLAST. I dunno exactly how the devs implemented the controls, but that is often the biggest challenge using Gamehub (finding a game that recognizes my controller inputs), and the devs nailed it. Possibly something to do with the engine. I a...
