About This Game

Swallow is a first-person psychological horror game with a heavy focus on story and exploration. Based on a true story, describe an unsolved case that took place on an isolated island of 20th century England. Players take control of a lighthouse keeper to uncover the truth.

You wake up in the lighthouse keeper's house, the familiar lighthouse, the unchanging work, what should have been another ordinary shift. But I felt a deep uneasiness, and the island was no longer quiet. On the "right path" guided by the world, suffering from the oppression of reality or psychological influence, gradually doubting themselves, along with thinking, gradually rewriting their own lives.

The game use psychological horror method to present, so in the game there will be no zombies or monsters to hunt down the player's situation, presenting the real objects that will appear in reality, using the placement of objects to narrate the scene, and will also use psychology, sound effects and space conversion to create a horror atmosphere.

If the game texture is blurred, you can go to OPTION to adjust the game resolution, the game preset is 1080p.

This game is made by five college students from Taiwan. Thank you very much for playing and your support.

I finished the game pretty fast! Its about a half an hour type of game. It reminded me of Layers Of Fear! I recommend if short horror games are your thing. The story is pretty good. (Pretty good at scaring you)

I am going to keep this one short. This game is a walking simulator where everytime you turn around the doors have changed and you spend the majority of the game in a single hallway. There are very few jumpscares and there is no tension in the game because it's so confusing. It is really just the walking down a hallway simulator. I cannot recommend this game at 4$. Soft horror game very focused on the story and the experiences of the protagonist. Good map design, good story and good recreation of the environment. Minor bugs when loading textures. Game recommended for fans of horror more light and / or focused on story. Here there is only psychological horror.

Quite a boring walking simulator with nothing new to say. Would be average indie short horror game if it wasn't so mind-numbingly boring.

I have much respect for games created by a handful of people. That in itself is impressive to be able to create your own game. I have played quite a few games now that have been created by a small team. However, I wasn't too big on this one and I don't have the heart to give this the big red thumbs down. The story just wasn't there I'm sorry. But I see the potential you guys have so keep it up. I completed this in just over an hour. I experienced no bugs or glitches while playing. -Jordan

The game is pretty cheap and on discount it's basically free. That said it is a glorified walking simulator. The story isn't that enchanting and the atmosphere/horror elements quickly diminish when compared to the bigger part of watching and touching doors and taking damage unpredictably. Having no freedom of choice / choices matter whatsoever and the lack of a sprint key turns this down for me.

Short psychological horror game. Textures don't always load properly and certain aspects reminded me of point and click games. Enjoyable.

Swallow is a game where you play as a ...... you know, I have no idea what this game was about. Pro's - The graphics looked good - Controls were easy to learn and use - Map environments will change at times when you turn around. Con's - Unfortunately, that the changing of the map 'effect' gets old as that is the majority of the game - Its a walking simulator where you're in complete darkness at times - No story - 3 jumpscares in the game - This should've been free 1/5 Swallow is a horrible game and not worth the purchase. My rating system: 1 = Horrible game. Don't even look at it. 2 = Bad game. 3 = Its neither good nor bad - Average. 4 = Worth Playing. 5 = Must play!

This is pretty darn good. The voice acting was good except the weird kid. This is like if P.T. was in a lighthouse and had a story. There is a story here. I feel some influence from maybe Devotion and such... but that is praise I believe. I think its creepy and psychological. No pesky puzzles. No monsters. You and ... someone else.. on that island... 7/10 - Highly Recommend. Would love to see some more from these guys
