I finally took the time to play this indie hit created by the guy with the thinnest skin in videogames. On the positive side the game has a uniqe (especially for the time) gameplay style, solving puzzle by switching between 2 and 3d (kind of). Solving the puzzles is most often fun. Further it has a charming artstyle and overall a nice retro design. On the negative side a vast majority of the puzzles are way too easy imo. Anyone with half a brain will face no bigger challenge. I collected a bit over half (enough to finish the game) of the mandatory collectibles in only two sittings. Sure I could have gone for all of them but scouring every corner of the earth just sounds incredibly tedious. Also navigating between levels can be a hazzle and the black holes showing up randomly at levels blocking your path are just frustrating. I would give this a weak recommendation but if you decide not to play it you ain't missing much.

It's an interesting 2.5 game with a unique perspective mechanic, but it's definitely not for me. I dislike sluggish controls and did't enjoy the bomb puzzles for two reasons. For one if you die, you have to go back and pick up the bomb again which takes even longer now because of the slow controls and carrying bombs makes you slower. And secondly, I don't understand the need for the exploding walls to suddenly regenerate back to it's normal state again, it just means I got to fetch another bomb and do this mess all over again. Pacing felt overall very slow and didn't have interesting writing to keep me engaged.

one of the best games ever made a true indie game, chill and full of secrets, it will for sure get your brain to work on some puzzles and some are so complex that need outside hints or help

Liked the game. Good mechanics and good puzzles. The one thing a bit tedious was the navigating. But overall very enjoyable.

I love this game. One of the early Xbox indie gems. Amazing soundtrack from Disasterpeace.

Another instant classic - the music and atmosphere are top-notch, and the puzzles will really have you scratching your head. I've played through this game 3 times and enjoyed it each time. Definitely recommended!

Kind of the Metal Gear Solid of 2010s indie puzzle platformers
