About This Game

TEXNOPLAZM is a first person brawler/shooter hybrid centered on three intertwined movesets for punches, ranged weapons and firearms.

Defeat foes by wielding their own weapons, seamlessly switch combat styles during fights, and blend your combat skills and mobility for the most imaginative takedowns.

Year 200X, somewhere in Europe.
In a world where advanced magic works like technology, extraordinary feats are attainable for those who possess the right sorcerer code.

Nestled in the urban jungle, a street gang traffics synthetic companions known in the underground as “Dolls". One of them follows her routine—until the moment she does not.

Without any directive to guide her, she fights purely on instinct, a machine now unbound by purpose.

You are the Girl With No Name, you are a Technoplasm.

 • Fight enemies by wielding their own weapons against them

 • Switch combat styles mid fight

 • Blend movement and combat abilities for inventive takedowns

 • Unlock special moves and passive abilities

 • Explore the gothic cityscape of Europe, in a future that never was

 • Uncover your mysterious origins

If you like the fast paced action of ultrakill and the aesthetics of an edgy 2006 FPS game with a focus on pugilist power fantasy then I highly recommend this. My only wants are more interactions between enemies when hitting them into each other or the environment, more alterations to the soundtrack to match the gameplay (i.e. changing volume when getting hit or getting the final hit, reducing the intensity while not in combat) and more game!

A total blast of a technical, twitchy first person brawler where switching up your playstyle is crucial to staying alive. I was worried this would be Ultrakill levels of complex, which it isn't, thankfully, because I'm godawful at Ultrakill, but if you want to chase those higher rankings on each level you're gonna have to put to the time in to figure out the intricacies of melee weapons, fisticuffs, and gun combat to survive unscathed. Also, an absolutely insane soundtrack, it goes *so* hard. It's nuts. There's a "tin cans falling down stairs" breakdown in the first level's track that made me lose it when I first heard it.

Finished Texnoplazm and I definitely have some thoughts. I have been waiting for this game in anticipation for a good few months now and was drooling at the chance to finally play it. After finally playing it I sadly have to say it did not live up to the expectations in my head but was absolutely still good. Good, but could be MUCH better in the future with more tuning and refinement on gameplay systems. Things I liked: The constant need to switch weapons/melee: I love the incentive the game gives you to never stay complacent with just one singular weapon. It was smart to give players an abundance of utility that rewards using all of their moveset fluidly with each other. Moveset diversity: Each weapon having their own moveset and mobility was a very nice touch that makes them feels distinct from each other. Even going as far as to make each gun have a different dash/roll. Attack feedback: Right click on the fists, headshots with the pistol, and melee parries are what immedi...

Yes yes yes! This game is awesome! One of the best gems, if not the best I've found all year. This gameplay feels like a fantastic mixture of titan fall, dishonored, shadow warrior, ultrakill, ghostrunner, and condemned criminal origins(this game hasnt aged well) all blended into a melee sort of immersive sim boomshoot and it really does not disappoint. This game really does feel like it has everything i love in all my favorite games and does its own thing with it. The ps1/ps2 era graphics and art style look fantastic and perfectly complement the overall vibe of the game, although I do wish some of the enemies were a bit more varied visually just a minor gripe. Performance is great. Ive experienced quite a few bugs but nothing that really bothered me too much i had to restart once and play through portion of level but the gameplay was so fun I didnt really care so that must mean something right? Bugs seemed to be more prevalent in the demo than the base game which seems a lot more po...

Mark of a dedicated developer, one whom can craft kickass enough a standalone soundtrack to warrant a whole game based off of it. Whether you're here for one or the other, holistically speaking, it's anything and everything I'm sure this dev found kickass in titles played previous, coalesced into something that, even in Early Access, at the time of this review, FEELS like it's got flesh, bone, and marrow.

Far from finished, but what's currently present is a solid foundation that would make for a great experience once complete. Well worth a try.

I have been waiting for a game like this since 98. It's not even done yet. I paid like 12 bucks for an early access game that still feels like a complete experience. 12 OUT OF 10 SHUT MOUTH BUY TEXNOPLAZM PARRY A TRAIN

A fun concept ready to be refined, great artstyle and especially music! The gameplay is fun and addictive, I always wondered how Hotline Miami would feel in first person and this is the closest result.
