A childhood relic redeemed in adulthood. Completing the game without three-starring every level left me hollow until I realized: those missing stars weren't the loss; it was the irretrievable delight of childhood play that had truly vanished.

it is cute, for sure - but the controls can be a bit of a woolly mess, and the co-op feels like herding sheep on your own. Somehow, it’s multiplayer without the party.

I feel really bad for giving this one a negative review. If there was a third in-between option between positive and negative, I would've picked that one, but alas. First off, here's some history time; Home Sheep Home 2 first appeared as a series of flash games (the episodes were actually all individual games) back in the early 2010's. You could find them everywhere on flash sites, but the official way was on the actual Shaun the Sheep site, which is how I played it originally way back then. For flash games, they were extraordinarily well made, and definitely the best of their time. I spent countless hours on them! Flashforward to 2014, a deluxe version of Home Sheep Home 2 would be released on Steam and mobile devices that tied all the episodes in one game, with the visuals in higher quality than what would be achieved on flash.
