About This Game

Use decorations, lights, sounds and more to design a haunted house then open it for guests and see how they react. Guests will leave reviews and if done well enough you'll eventually unlock different areas and more decorations as you become the ultimate haunted house builder.

Features:

  • Many things are available to build your haunted house including lights you can customize via direction and color, speakers to play scary laughs or thunder ambiance, animatronics, posable monsters, trigger pads and more.
  • Several different decorations including old furniture, paintings, lamps, and monsters.
  • Some decorations will need power and others will require a trigger for full effect so generators and motion detectors will need to be strategically placed.
  • Design walls, ceilings, and floors by changing their materials and making them into doors or removing them altogether for more room.
  • Guests will react to different things, might flee if too spooked and will leave reviews detailing their haunted house experience.
  • Some guests are picky and will need tailored decorations to get a good review.
  • Unlock strange and unusual decorations and areas as you progress.
  • Unique locations like abandoned areas or forests.

Follow up! -- I stand by my original review. Not only does this game suck, but they apparently put it together to try and snag some money from those of us trying to support indie games, and then completely abandoning it. Man, I WANT to like this game. I design haunted houses professionally and was looking forward to checking this out... but it's a mess. I mean, expectations were pretty limited, but it failed to even meet those. Obviously the graphics aren't hot, but on top of that the interface is clunky, quests are buggy as hell with people sometimes seeing what they're supposed to and other times not, even when nothing is changed. People walk through walls so you have to waste $$ blocking what is already a wall with hay bales or railings. It's just bad all around. If it were free, I'd give it a pass as early access, but this is just bad with a capital Q. Steer clear, at least for the time being.

A Haunted Attraction building game was something I was hoping would happen for A while now But this game is very buggy. The people Sometimes won't get scared by the speakers and don't even seem to see some the decorations the guest will sometimes walk through walls or bug out completely if they flee. Then there is the problem of items resetting to there default position / form The Haunted house items That are pose able or the ones that can be set for a trigger pad do not save their Pose position / trigger. i loaded up a sandbox game that i had built and all the pose able items reset their default position spotlights reset their position and color and all the trigger able items all changed to the very first trigger pad that was placed and not the one i had them set too also the custom letters all changed back to the letter "A" And the sitting skeleton was just gone like it was stolen or something very annoying that if i make a nice sandbox haunted house it don't stay the way i left it. ...
