About This Game

Zombie Grinder is cross-platform, multiplayer game that features a variety of different game-modes to enjoy with friends, both locally and online. You can slaughter your way through many different maps, game modes and enemies - With tons of weapons and customization options!

Cooperation
Supports both local shared-screen coop (and split-screen if in pvp modes), online coop, and even the ability to mix both - bringing in multiple local players into online games!

Support is available for global community-wide in-game-chat, local in-game-chat and voice chat to make cooperation and setting up matches even easier!

Weapons & Customization
The game contains a constantly evolving stable of items to find in-game and add to your inventory! Giving you options to change each of your characters individual look and load-out. There are even some rare special-drops of steam-inventory items that have rare randomized stats for you to bring into your game!

This stable of items includes many fun and exotic weapons - everything from automated turrets to rocket-propelled-chainsaws!

Skills
The longer you play the game, the more experience your character gains, and the more times you level up! Leveling up allows you to unlock parts of the skill tree that give you passive or active skills you can activate during games to give you an edge over the enemy!

Game Modes
Many different modes are implemented, with more being worked on! For PVE this includes modes like: like wave-based game modes and objective modes. While PVP provides the common deathmatch style modes, CTF, TDM, DM, Gun-Game, etc.

If that's not enough we provide several rogue-like game modes that procedurally generate their game maps! Providing more longevity to the game!

Various game modes also provide global ranking to show how awesome you are at the game!

Level-Editor & Workshop
If that's not enough, the game also features a level editor that has full support for Steam Workshop. If the provided maps aren't enough, you can make your own or browse ones other people have made!

In future we want to work on opening up the source of some of the gameplay code to allow far-larger scope modifications!

It dawned on me that the title of this game isn’t just a fun play on words—if you’ve ever wondered how hordes of zombies would fare inside a blender, then you’re in for a treat! Zombie Grinder plays exactly as it reads—and it’s glorious. Moments after starting any game mode, the ground is painted green, and littered with chunks of flesh, goo, and an assortment of other gross odds and ends. No holds barred, there’s an extensive assortment of weaponry at your disposal, all of which offer a satisfying means drop tonnes of zombie chunks. New players are equipped with a pistol and additional weapon pickups are strewn throughout levels, although it’s a lucky dip-esque scenario, which can raise the stakes in stressful situations. Zombie mobs will occasionally drop weapons in the same fashion, too. Otherwise, character level milestones will unlock weapons that become purchasable in a shop accessed via the main menu; these can be equipped for immediate use at the star...

This game used to be fun before the devs left it entirely and abandoned the project. The entire game is buggy and undone and needs to be redone. It is not worth this amount of money and is not worth your time. It was going to be something amazing, but now it's turned into a worthless game due to dev abandonment. So sad.

Really good and really smooth twin stick shooter. I love the graphics and I really like how things explode into bits when killed or destroyed. The accessories and weapons are all pretty fine and all the weapons are relatively usable as well, which is rare for today's games. The developer constantly replies to threads and is always listening to the feedback given in the forums, which is just astoundingly great. I haven't come across any bugs in this game yet and anything that I think needs to be changed the developer has addressed already and stated he will be doing something about it in his next update. I'd really recommend this game if you even mildly enjoy twin sticks, zombies, or games with online multiplayer and the option for single player as well. 8.5/10. Now i'm gonna go play some more

Now this is a zombie game I recommand. Theres so much you could ask for in this. A great inventory system, a crafting system, and even a market for you to sell stuff you don't want.

I tried to support this game as a friend of mine said he was friends with the creator. Sadly he didnt tell me the creator was a flake when it comes to finishing projects he uploads to steam. Dead in the water.

Game was fun back when the developers actively worked on it, but they have since abandoned ship leaving the community to go elsewhere. Save your money and find another indie developer to support.

This game is straight up terrible. The enjoyment of basic top-down-twin-stick-arcade-style games like these comes from smooth controls and intuitive, fast paced gameplay, however this game does not deliver. I played this game with several friends expecting the cooperative nature of the game to dwarf any inadaquacies, yet still by minute one there were some severe complaints. Specifically, the controls just arent smooth. All the buttons are just ridiculously out of place - main fire is left trigger, switch weapon isnt y, dash is x, strafe is b... its like they decided to attempt revolutionary button placement. You can of course remap the buttons, but even at their optimal placement, they will still feel clunky at best. To run and shoot you'll need to press and hold 3 buttons while constantly tapping the fire button. Unfortunately, at least as to the time I made this review, the unpolished glint from this game predominantly overshadows everything I could really enjoy about the ga...

Zombie Grinder is a Game about Brutally Massacring Zombies, if you haven't Found out from the Trailer already. It Gives you many character customization options, (You can even paint items!) And has Steam Trading Support (for some items). Also, Workshop support. There's way too little people playing this game, so buy it for yourself and your friends.
