It's a slightly above average FPS released on the 3DO that seems to be considered a cult classic for a small number of people because most 3DO games were just way worse. While it's nice to see it highly polished with a very clean framerate, the fundamental game design still just has some awful things about it that keep it from being a real hidden gem. The premise is funny, as you play as a chef aboard a ship who has to use his frying pan to attack enemies that include alien butt creatures. You might think that this is a "breezy" simplistic FPS since it has the premise of a parody of a game like Doom, but it's not. This game is tough as nails and the harder difficulties will chew you up and spit you out if you're not prepared for them. The combat it self is not awful. There's some nuance to it, as some weapons are better at killing the flying creatures. Some enemies drop certain ammunition and others give health, so there would seem to be a balance to the game play. The first 1/3 of ...
This is a perfect remaster with good controller support and WASD controls. The price is a little high, but if you can get it at least 50% off its worth it. It froze up on me once and the jumping takes a little bit to master. The jetpack is the best part because it has unlimited fuel! 10/10
He didn't cooked... Ice movement making you fall easily when you stop, bad level design that go all over the place, annoying enemies, story overview that i didn't had time to read and worst of all, NO MUSIC or atmospheric soundtracks while you reap and tear through non sense... I'm sorry Nightdive, i love game getting restored like gog is also doing, but some sadly might be better buried still...
