ngl, NODE is kinda pricey for an indie puzzle-platformer. like… i wish they gave even a launch discount so it didn’t feel like such a wallet hit right away. but the game itself is actually really cool. frustrating at first, but in a good “one more try” kinda way

I’ll be honest, at first I thought the game was a bit on the pricey side for what looked like a small indie puzzle game. If you’re super budget-conscious, I’d honestly say maybe wait for a sale. That said, a friend recommended it to me, and after playing, I get why. The way the game makes you slow down and really think through each section is different from most puzzle-platformers I’ve played (which, honestly, isn't a lot), and it hooked me more than I expected. So yeah, I’d probably recommend grabbing it on discount if you’re hesitant, but even at full price it delivers a memorable experience that sticks with you. :)
I was on the hunt for a new, laid-back game and happened to come across this gem. Honestly, it's a bit on the pricey side and definitely not a budget-friendly or free-to-play option. For the game play itself, I can say that it's worth to try and the timeline-based controls are unique and rewarding, feels like programming your own robot. :) If you're a fan of puzzle games, this is definitely worth a look!
Played the DEMO of this game and really liked the creative gameplay and mechanics. The puzzles were very fun and challenging which gives the right amount of frustration to keep trying. I also like the general atmosphere of the game although some parts felt flat and I wish they made the lore a bit more exciting to uncover cause it felt like so much info dump at times. Could def use a bit more tweaking in the sound department. I also hope they could make a way to have multiple saves or go back to certain checkpoints since I don't think I'd replay the game just to get to a single missed point. It's just too tedious. Overall, I think this game is worth playing but I really recommend getting it during a sale as it's a bit too pricey for what is has to offer.
If you check my profile, it's always rpg and fps games, this is my first time trying a platformer game, I played the demo nonstop and the full game delivers even more 🔥Puzzles feel tough but fair, and that moment when it finally clicks? Chef’s kiss.
I came across the game by chance, but it turned out to be fantastic. I don't usually leave reviews, but I was having such a great time that I felt it was worth saying something. At first, I had a bit of trouble handling the timeline, but after a while I got the hang of it like a pro, and it feels great. What I love the most is the story. I hope this helps!
Pretty neat game that I'm unfortunately not a fan of. I appreciate this game had a lot of work and love put into it, but it just doesn't really work for me. The idea is that you are sending commands to a bot. Basically, imagine a NASA engineer commanding a rover on Mars. You need to set exactly how long the different commands will run, e.g. move forward for 5 seconds, jump, then stop and interact with an elevator. You use these commands to solve various puzzles. The story seems intriguing so far and decently well written. The graphics are nothing mindblowing, but the game compensates that with its atmosphere and art direction. The audio and music are well done and the bot that you control has a surprising amount of detail and characterisation. The reason I'm writing this review so early is that I don't like the frustrating trial and error approach that this game takes, which is the main mechanic. I will play a bit more, but the game does puzzle solving in a quite annoying way. For e...
Kinda overpriced tbh for an indie puzzle game. A launch discount would’ve made it way easier to recommend right out of the gate. But credit where it’s due, the mechanics are actually pretty fresh. Lowkey stressful in the best way, and feels super rewarding too :)
i tried the demo first and liked it enough to keep going with my progress in the full game! ^____^ haven’t gotten too deep yet, but it already feels promising~~ i'm planning to dive in more this weekend cuz it feels like the kind of game you want to take your time with and really enjoy edit: game keeps crashing and deleting my save whenever i reach the earthquake encounter after the radiation elevator 🙁 i've had to start over for a bunch of times already i was so excited bc i played the demo and loved it, so i bought it with no hesitation even though it was expensive for my region.. :( not worth it at this price imo
A fantastic minimalistic yet atmospheric side-scrolling puzzle game that will bring memories back of those school days with the roamer robot. Patience and persistence is key in enjoying this unique exploration game, and though trial and error may frustrate some, the feeling of successfully getting the cute little robot from A to B is addictive
