We all love falling-blocks puzzle games, and we all love the (arguably) two most intricate members of the platonic solids.

Namely, the dodecahedron and the icosahedron

Psoltrix is the lovechild of Tetris and platonic solids, so these two things never have to be separated again.

Interesting game—had more fun than I expected, and the interface is surprisingly intuitive. I just wish I had more control over the difficulty, like lowering the speed escalation or increasing the piece complexity. The main display gets harder to read as the geometry scales up (or maybe that’s just the anxiety kicking in from all the screw-ups and rising speed). The secondary displays don’t seem that useful (yet), and maybe they could be replaced with something like a section that shows where the holes are. Speaking of Tetris, I remember using all sorts of mods—like exploding tiles that clear areas, or limited-use 'I' tiles to help in a pinch—so there’s definitely room for the game to grow. It’s like Tetris went to architecture school and dropped acid. Chaotic, clever, and weirdly addictive—I’ll definitely be back for more.
