Didn't enjoy this. Concept is pretty cool, but the lack of automation is a deal breaker for me. The game isn't idle, it's very active, and is essentially you just clicking anything that glows (two button presses) to upgrade once resources his the cap. The combat isn't particularly fun to watch either, and the "freeze" frames on death make it feel like the computers lagging. Good concept, but needs more going on, especially outside of the "inventory" . Random events that can pop up etc, automation. Unfortunately you don't "feel" the benefits of anything you are doing in this game which makes it a pointless idle game. The wizards spells don't get bigger and better, you just hit a new wave. It's like the most basic of tap heroes just with a convoluted way of upgrading everything. I obviously haven't got to the end game yet, but my first impressions so far. Even something as simple as a separate inventory where mobs could drop "gear" would elevate this game to something enjoyable, and...

No automation that I can see. Every prestige has a hard cap as to how far you can progress, so there isn't much of a game here as there is a very long PowerPoint Presentation that you have to click through 50,000 animations to get to the final frame. Without some major changes, this is not worth anyone's time.
The game had a very promising start, but after a couple of days, you have unlocked all main features and the game gets really repetetive. There are no automation features, so it comes down to clicking upgrades for an hour or two in every prestige. The dev is active and responds on discord, but refuses to add automation. I will only give a recommendation because the price is low and I did have fun for a couple of days, but the supposed "endgame" is a big disappointment.
This is not a idle game, you have to manually upgrade things constantly to progress and you can't really store up a significant amount of resources. The excess gold mechanic is confusing and requires constant babysitting or maybe I'm just an idiot. The music always starts super loud at 100%, even if you have it set to something else. The pause between waves after dying needs a timer or to show your hp regenerating. There should be a ingame wiki for what each resource is and where it comes from after you unlock something requiring it. Mouse hovering over a resource's image in the upgrade menu should show that resources name.
A solid little incremental game! The mechanics have a surprising amount of depth and each run feels a little bit different.
Simple and abstract, brilliantly extracting the spirit of the idlegame
I'm going to edit my review. It wasn't my cup of tea. It has a lot of great concepts that I think many will enjoy. I was jarred by the blaring loud sound settings that the dev has said it was a bug and will fix it. I was also confused by the fact that the death animation was just both parties standing still doing nothing. The dev has said this was by choice. I am personally not a fan on how the investment system is revolved around different forms of currencies with the upgrades being more storage or beat more enemies faster. Your health bar acts as just a timer until you have to wait to re-spawn. It's just not for me.
An elegant incremental game with steadily unfolding depth and complexity. At its core, this is a resource management game. Decide how best to spend your Souls, Gold, Runes, Orbs of Power, and other resources to improve your Wizard's combat ability or to generate additional resources. Well worth the Five Dollar price tag. If you enjoy incremental games, it is well worth trying WizUp!
Very neat little game. Great art style and interesting progression. Definitely worth picking up for the low cost of entry if you are into idle games.
Pure Incremental Prestige - Didn't stick around long enough to find out. Active Play - None Visuals - Minimal Special Mechanics - None Cash Shop - None Incredibly boring especially for an incremental game. I feel like a data entry worker managing all these currencies to small upgrades that doesn't look like anything is changing. This art style reminds me of a different wizard idle where the guy cast all these different spells and avoided enemies manually or automatically. Where the hell is that game because it's infinitely more fun than whatever this is.
