I did want to check this game out on my own because of the bad reviews and i have to say: they are true! For the money you pay its just far too less gameplay... I'm very disappointed :/ The game really is only like 15 minutes long. I have to admit that the game is sometimes quite funny, but everything else seems very unpolished and amateurish... Also the voice acting of the barkeeper is horrible... you can clearly hear that the voice got downpitched in some crappy way :/ There are also some graphic bugs, like seeing the non existent cars headlights through the walls, but that wouldnt matter too hard if the game was actually good. I doubt that the other episodes will be better... Not worth the money... Save your lifetime and your money... :(

DO NOT BUY luckily i got this on a sale as i thought it looked interesting, but what you get is 10-15 minuttes of gameplay with the promise of new episodes coming. I've been waiting for quite a while now and it seems that nothing is really happening, and the dev does not answer the forums anymore (98 days since last login). If you google the company's history you will find that they have previously released games which have never been finished. It smells like a scam, especially after i found this article on one of the guys that work there: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1094973/Musician-barred-selling-soul-eBay.html

Gameplay isn't very interesting, it's nothing we haven't seen before in other "walking sims" or adventure games with minimal gameplay. The story is forgetable, and the humor is mostly dull. It's been almost a year and only the first out of four episodes is out, doesn't look to ever be completed. Not worth it in its unfinished state, quite likely won't be worth it in its finished state either.

THIS REVIEW IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. I WILL UPDATE IT IF THE OTHER EPISODES COME OUT. But if they dont this is getting a negative review. Sam Glyph is a an adventure game where we play as Sam. He is a detective who is out of work but one day he gets a job offer he cant refuse. After that he is pulled back into the game after a failed assasination attempt. So how is Sam Glyph ? I really like the first episode and its shows alot of promise for the game but theres a bunch of negatives i want to talk about right now. The game has bugged achievements so if youre a completionist just skip this one. But be carefull cause this game might be a scam. The devs of this game promised the next episode to be huge as it was in development for almost a year now. The dev in october stated that the second episode would be out before christmas. But the dev went silent for over 100 days and there is no updates for the game so i think this might be a scam. To get this game just for the first episode is now w...

I laughed my ass off at this game. Apparently the humor is not for everyone; it's not exactly high-brow, but it's not, say, South Park. The timing, writing, and delivery are all above-par. The thing of it is, Episode 1 is 15 minutes long, and episodes 2-4 are vaporware; the developer has disappeared, and this is very likely all we're getting. If this game was free I'd rate it 11/10. For five bucks I'd say to seriously consider grabbing it. For fifteen USD? Absolutely not. Do not buy this game, at least until there's some proof that the other three "episodes" are actually coming.

''I slaped her across the t i t s for that.... twice'' 10/10 I do not think this is worth 15 dollars at all, and the episodes are short as fuck with little gameplay, but the humor is definitly worth 5$. Can't wait for the next two episodes :D

So I've played through the first two chapters (which as far as I can tell is all there is at this point), and I have to say I was highly disappointed. The dialogue is very juvenile, it really seems like a early teenage guy trying to sound super tough. As far as actual game play goes I would start by suggesting more payoff of exploration, by which I mean beyond the office there really isn't much you can click on or investigate. I'm not a huge fan of the blocky graphics but that is mostly just a personal preferance. The final thing I have to say about this slightly dull game with potential is that at no point in any game have I ever thought to myself "Gee if only I could actually watch my character piss, that would make this experience so much better". While I won't be reccomending this game anytime soon, I will certainly play the next two episodes when they come out in hopes that there is improvement :)

Sigh . . . this was an interesting concept, but unfortunately it's been abandoned. There's only ten, maybe twenty minutes of gameplay and it's doubtful that we're ever going to get more than that. Unless you can get it on sale for like 99.5% off (and the game is only two dollars), don't bother. Basically the Bad ending for when you take a gamble on Early Access. Fwiw the writing is . . . okay, it's about as immature as it gets but some people like that sort of thing so whatever. Story could have gone places, but eh, "game not being abandoned" is kind of a prerequisite for that. Oh yeah, I'm not sure how many but some of the achievements are broken, too, so you don't even get that. Oh well.

As dead as a door nail! Has been abandoned by dev. I enjoyed it; but if you buy it your money will be as dead as this is. Has not been updated since oct 2014

Loved the play-style, and the detective noir-style story and animation are great, but I hate the dialogue and the voice of Sam. Was expecting more classic American, not some British trying to be American voice. Sadly the terrrible dialogue and terrible voice really turn me off.
