Abduction Action! Plus

Actually pretty fun to pass some time. Fly around in a UFO Abducting Cows, Chickens, Birds and Killing Evil Farmers. Sorry, no probe action. It is a rather large download for this type of game at over 400mb. Should be under 100mb.

Kind of disappointing overall. Was hoping for something a little more than 5 levels of very basic gameplay! No key rebinding makes for an awkward playstyle with arrow keys for movement, space to use the Abduction Beam, Y to Boost and B to drop bombs! End of each level you have to press X to progress to the next level as well, so I think that this is a VERY lazy port that hasn't even bothered to change the inputs from XBox! I tried an XBox controller as well, foolishly thinking that it might be a better way to play... Nope, no response at all using a controller! It goes to show how truly lazy a port this is when, in the options menu there is a setting for controller shake and next to it is a message "Not on PC"!! So why is it even in there??? The gameplay is mildly amusing briefly, but only consists of picking things up in your abduction beam and either abducting the defenseless, dropping enemies to their death or dropping rocks and crates to kill or damage enemies. I knew this game would be cheap and Dumb when I bought it, but still even knowing that, I still bought it because I thought it would be fun and enjoy it for what it is, this is no Destroy all Humans, but its still funny and fun. Wish it was longer tho

Great short and fun little game! I think the mechanics and difficulty fit very well as its not too hard to grasp but also a fair amount of challenge when dealing with certain mobs. The only improvement would be to add more levels to the story mode! 9/10

In this 2D side scrolling game you play as an alien in a spaceship fighting first farmers, jocks, police and then the military, each level being very slightly different and each having their own boss. One of the annoyances this game has is that instead of things being explained in keyboard terms, they use controller dialect, while it isn't that bad it did take me some time to figure out the proper controls, I should've paid more attention in the tutorial... I enjoyed playing the game, but sadly the game has very little content besides the five levels in campaign, which can be completed in under 20 minutes and Score Attack, an endless mode that is much harder than the story mode, getting 100k points for the achievement is exceedingly boring. I think once you beat all the bosses, the score goes up by 150 every few seconds, either that or something bugged. If this game goes on sale, I'd recommend getting it on 50% or higher.
