"This is my first love, be gentle when you speak of Heartomics." Oh, in that case, this game isn't the worst thing I've ever played, it's just ONE of the worst things I've ever played, no joke. Let the trailer speak for itself, incoherent laughing, and a cheap hamster voice filter. Please, don't buy this game, no matter how cheap it is.

I played a few minutes of it. Wasn't able to get past the third corridor. I cant tell if the slime generation is random or not, but I swear parts of that tutorial are impossible.

Slime & Friends is yet another of literally hundreds of 2D retro pixel top down brawler/shooters infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This one is deplorably lazy, badly made shovelware, with crap hitboxes, zero polish, and more technical defects than colours in the VGA gamut the game barely uses. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The controls can't be...

The game is very hard but has trading cards and nice anime backgrounds.

Much as I'd like to give this a good review... I just don't understand this game enough. There seems to be little point beyond trying not to get hit by little purple jelly-things...
