The Blue Box

Holy shit this game feels like I took acid and hopped onto a time machine. This game is not made to be taken seriously. It is multiple games that were created during Game Jam competitions. The creator is a fun person to know and the games are a reflection of his personality in whole.

The Blue Box is six interesting game concepts compiled into a single package. Every game in the Blue Box is simple to pick up and enjoy without enduring tutorials or pages of documentation. Three of them feature Twitch IRC integration (Ostriches, Llama, and Snapshot) which make this a great purchase for streamers looking for something new and interesting to share and play with their viewers. These are "game jam" games with time constraints and smaller teams but still manage to execute some fairly impressive technical feats and present some entertaining moments. Oligocene Snapshot in particular is a promising Pokémon Snap clone for people who were disappointed that it was never followed up. Further levels for that game are still in development but even in its current state it's fun to play. Great varied collection of games. I helped work on it just a little bit but don't think that sways my opinion any... ok maybe it does a little, but it's still good anyways! You'll laugh, cry, and be confused as all heck. Good value too!!
