Is this movie franchise still going or I suppose, more accurately, does it make any money? I ask because the opening cutscene is just character voices over a slideshow; not even an animated cutscene in a movie license game of an animated film. Aside from that, this is a basic Pikmin game, but it feels like it lacks heart, so probably more that Overlord: Fellowship of Evil which took a good game design and made it feel bad and lifeless; like a lot of clones of better games, this just makes me wish I could play Pikmin on PC, if you really want to do that as well, this is probably deep sale bait 50% or more. Below the horizontal sideways thumb, mainly because it feels unpolished and bland but not trash, just bland. Possibly the best part is there is an Achievement called 'Massive Damage' which you get by killing a stunned crab, so this game is going for some ancient memes. Don't know if it is sadder remembering ancient memes or putting them in your game, that is up to philosophers. Shif...
“I do not say blah blah blah!” ~Drac
OK, now this one came as a pretty big surprise to me. I mean, I love games based on movies and TV shows. When I was a little kid, pretty much every big movie had its own video game. From Star Wars and Indiana Jones to Alien and Halloween. We had it all. Of course, not all of such games were equally good (take Gremlins 2: The New Batch from Motivetime Ltd., for example), but many of them were pretty awesome. Games like Alien for Commodore 64, Batman for the NES, Dune 2 for DOS and, of course, millions and millions of games based on Disney's animations are still among my most favorite ones. Heck, many of such games are criminally underrated. Like Terminator 2: Judgment Day for the NES, the original Dune for DOS and Gremlins 2: The New Batch from Riedel Software, which was totally different ...
Game is too short and kinda empty with not much to do. Tries to say you can explore but there's not much to explore and you'll need to come back later with upgrades in order to 100% it. The design was also very lazy as they couldn't even bother with animated cut scenes but instead used still images of the 3D renders as if it was a rough story boarding for later 3D animation. Gameplay is very simple and game isn't too hard to understand. It is entertaining, though a bit hard to control. I guess if the target audience is supposed to be kids the difficulty is right but some times I couldn't tell if it was hard because it spiked or hard because the controls are a bit off. Was a bunch of missed chances to make this game better as even though it plays with the Pikmin concept of commanding minions it is extremely simple and doesn't really do anything creative with it. Given the universe and characters this would of been better off as a 3D action platformer rather than watch tiny army of mo...
Mavis.
Didn't enjoy this at all. Was nothing what I expected it to be and it was boring, sometimes even too challenging when your imps die on stupid things and you are left out with none. Time limit ruined exploring which was only enjoyable thing in this abomination.
hotel transylvania is like a bad overlord game though it's still better than fellowship of evil. you get little impas that you make attack things or carry stuff for you. there is a target that you move around and you can throw a impa to the target or tell all of them to go to that spot to attack or pick up whats there. you also get a recall but you need to move the target near ones you want to recall also doing this over ones carrying something will drop it to come to you. you'll play as drak or mavis but there is no difference outside how they look. i don't think they can die but the impas can and once you lose all of them you'll need to go back to the ship because the vamps don't have any attacks. there are only 3 islands and the only thing you collect are treasures and gems that will give you a larger impa pool though you can only take so many with you 10-30. there is also a time limit of 10min (it can be upgraded to 12.50 => 15). all interaction points do stay and enemies do not a...
TIME LIMIT ruins the gameplay and overtoasted bones in a lunging fist of crap
