About This Game
Developed by Sonic Shield and published by Zodiac Interactive, Big Day is an intense pixel-art shooter ARPG. Set in the smashed-up aftermath of a crippling zombie outbreak, you’ll pit your wits (and trigger fingers) against hordes of the marauding undead.
Combining a top-down viewpoint with lightning fast combat, you’ll need to build and strengthen your arsenal of boomsticks to have any hope of rescuing your lost daughter, as well as finding out exactly what started this mess in the first place.
Story:
Zombies! Just like in the movies! Society is on its knees, and simple farmer Pancho must travel across what remains of the planet order to rescue his daughter Liz. Along the way he’ll find himself battling through cities infected by the mysterious zombie virus “Snowdrop”, while at the same time becoming tangled in a shocking international conspiracy.
Game features:
Lightning Fast Combat and Shooting.
Use your array of ranged and close combat attacks to recreate the bloody ballet of movies like “Kill Bill”, reducing the mindless zombie army to glistening red chunks.
Richly Detailed World
Whether you’re slicing flesh on the Manhattan Bridge, or blowing holes in fools while rescuing the Queen in Buckingham Palace, Big Day lets you do it in beautiful pixel-art style!
Explore, Collect, Survive
Acquire a wide range of weapons and items, enhancing and modifying them to give yourself the edge you need to get through the Big Day!

Gonna change my review from a punch to the gut to a beacon of hope. Developers, please don't abandon this game, some of us feel duped. This game has potential (that's why we bought it) and its in early access with NO improvements since launch. The reloading system needs some serious improvement or needs to be removed all together, get some skins for the Machete, make unlocking stuff more straight forward and simple. BAM fixed and you can actually make money off the work you've already invested into it. Hopefully this sends a clear message to buyers AND developers.
Never going anywhere from day one, devs abandoned. Luckily i was wise and got refund before 2 hours.
Load game... Do the starting mission when you first log in. Go to world map, go to first city to meet crucial NCP. Click on said city; "There was a problem, please contact support." Kden.... I'll wait I think.
Abandonware .
Not a bad game so far. A little ruff around the edges, but so far looks good.
Old-retro style. Nice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLr49iTHQdU
As of writing this I have 0.8 hrs, and it's good. Some things need fixing, overall good game. Graphics: Good graphics, I would have liked 1980x1080 (1080p) resolution though. Sound: Good gun sound, music could be better. The asian music would have been better, if it was just asian music. No rock involved if you know what I mean, overall music is good. Controls: There good, but needs fixing, and there needs to be button configuration. I want my dodge for example, to be a mouse button at the side. Can't do that, but overall controls are good. Scenes: I would have liked more asian theme, there is asian theme. But not enough, I just started so not sure if there is more later. Translation: There are grammer and translation mistakes, but nothing that you can't understand. The tuterial can be increased, what I mean is. For new people they don't know how to change loadout, little things like that. Also the control screen needs fixing, the keys to move are not the right ones. T...
EDIT - I'm just a little disappointed if I'll be honest - The game was satisfying once you got around some bugs and some questionable mechanics, I was looking forward to helping and giving feedback but it seems this game is abandoned and we can expect no more content, support or much needed fixes - Unless they pull a CubeWorld on us. I'll leave my previous review below for anyone who is curious at all. The game definitely has some areas of work that are needed, - Extra work around translation (although it's all perfectly understandable, just a few typo's here and there, and wrong words used - such as 'made' instead of 'make'0 and a few bugs seems most prominent. But that's what the early access is for and the game is definitely fun. Great soundtrack. My main gripe besides the bugs would be non-skippable dialogue (if you die in a level, you need to sit through the dialogue again, not a big one, but it get's a bit tedious if you're on a level you keep derping at). Reload system doesn'...
