What do you hear?? Yanny vs Laurel

You know that video that was making rounds on Facebook and other social media platforms? This is exactly what this is. A looping Yanny/Laurel sound with a slider... That's it. The whole game.

No content here. All you get is a little bar where you can adjust the tone of the famous "YANNY / LAUREL" clip. There are no other words they provide for you to fiddle tone with. The Yanny clip isn't even property of the developer and yet they are still charging for it. There are many, MANY online apps that are identical to this "game," but are free. I'm surprised this game is even allowed on steam.

I don't often feel emotionally moved while playing a game, but this game has changed my very idea of what a good game should look like. Spoilers ahead. It was during the cut scene where you and your mother are dangling above the city in the rogue helicopter where I first experienced the tension that this game frequently brings about. It was after this that nearly every decision I made elicited some kind of emotion from deep within myself and I realized just how thoughtfully written and carefully crafted this game is. Every decision you make matters, and at no point did I ever feel bored or uninterested in whatever was happening. Every moment grabs your attention and doesn't let go until your eyes can't take staring at the screen any more. I can not express how much this game has truly affected me as a person and to the creators I would just like to say, thank you so much. I recommend this game to anyone looking for an emotional game with a deeply crafted story and lore.

I'm not a fan of the subtle themes of child abuse hidden throughout the campaign. But still an amazing game. An absolute gem.
