About This Game

Play as familiar characters as you take on a dystopian world occupied by NPCs masquerading as real living humans in a 3D First Person Shooter. You have been dropped into NPC Square, a walled off quarantine zone. You can also fight the horde in the new NPC HQ map. This is a humorous, satirical game where you fight endless hordes of "NPCs" hell bent on destroying the eccentric and unique playable characters. You observe the programming of unaware NPCs by the NPC New Organization and attempt to destroy as many bots as you can to help free the world. Said saviors of the world include: The Bad Orange Man, Wojak/Feel Guy, Chad, Virgin, The Doomer, a 30 yr old Boomer, a Brainlet, and a Zoomer.

Well, this game is not really finished, and it probably won't ever be. This game was either concieved by someone who heard about the NPC meme a few months ago, and then made a crappy game to capitalize on a dead meme, or someone who browses 4.chan regularly and thought it would be a good idea to reveal his power level. Either way, this game is just not worth 5 dollars- maybe 2.99, but not 5. There's no way to change the screen resolution, so if your monitor doesn't do 1920x1080, don't expect to be able to see all of the UI. Speaking of UI, its not great. The HUD has inconsistantly styled fonts, and some of it just doesn't look like it took more than a few seconds to place. Sure, the NPC's are funny, and make political correctness look silly, but the core gameplay is pretty bland, and gets boring immediately. The voice acting wasn't terribly great either, and the graphics in general look very cookie cutter "free game developer kit." Bottom line; 5 dollar games exist in relatively...
Orange man bad!
NPCs is a first-person shooter game that aims to embody the humorous NPC meme, as well as bring attention to the growing trend of silly political correctness in all forms of media. Pros

Accurate portrayal of NPCs and their hoarde mentality upon spotting deviance from their cult-like norms
The ability to shoot said NPCs down
Different player characters, each with their own weapon and their level of skill in operating said weapon. Accurate examples include:

The virgin can't reload his weapon quickly enough and gets killed by the NPC hoarde
The Chad has a dual-barrel automatic machine gun and does not require reloading, easily obliterating most of the NPC masses

Able to play as an NPC to explore the map
At the current time of writing this review, the game developer is working on constant updates to the core gameplay, and also on leaderboards & achievements
Cons
...

> virgin is actually able to kill someone > chad is actually able to die and doesn't have minigun-grenadelaunchers as weapons >Doomer doesn't smoke, cry or commit suicide >zoomer doesn't have the ability to quickscope. even comments on this in-game >Orange man's Ar-15 isn't red, white and Blue, no nuke button > Boomer and Brainlet are pretty accurate though 7/10 would shoot up commies in a gun-free zone again

I'll be honest: I got this game for shits n gigs, and you will too. -Gameplay is a boring and repetitive circle strafe shoot reload bit - regardless of which character you pick -Characters are a bit underdeveloped if you were going for something beyond a few voice lines done by what sounds like the same guy over and over (that includes the godawful Terminator effect the NPCs voice lines have) -Maps are fucking huge and lack everything - both are giant boxes with like 3 or 4 obstacles. If this was some sort of commentary on how the NPCs would live in areas devoid of anything reminiscent of normalcy I suppose I get it, but it doesn't stop it from looking unfinished. -The weapons made me furious. All of them lack basic animations like reloading, firing, etc. Again, if this was social commentary of "just buy it you dumb fucks" Then haha, you got me, fucker. All in all, the game was good for maybe like 5 minutes of fun... Maybe. I feel like it would've played out better if it had been a D...
