Holy Moly I loved this game back in the day. A few years ago, I even grabbed an emulator to replay the old PS1 version, and when I saw this, it was an instant buy on PS4. Great experience, lots of nostalgia — some good memories, some… not so good. Then I made the mistake of getting it on PC. Random invisible walls everywhere. Frustrating, sometimes straight‑up unplayable. The game doesn’t just refuse to let you move where you want — it forces you where it wants. Go AFK for a moment? You might come back to find yourself shoved into an enemy or straight into the void. Some Egg Stealer sections were literally impossible because of this. No idea why the PS4 version works fine while the PC version is broken. Other players have complained for ages, yet no patch. Big sad.

Spyro 1: Easy, simple with a unique charm to it Spyro 2: Expands on the original formula making for the best overall game in the trilogy Spyro 3: I have nothing nice to say about this game. NOTHING at all.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a wonderful look back on a fantastic platforming series from original Playstation days. The game play, overall pacing and level design overall hold up REALLY well even today. Its a fun fantastic series that has earned its right among the 3d platforming genres greatest. Toys For Bob deserves commendation for their efforts to both modernize what was needed and keep intact what mattered most. However with all that being said this particular Steam release is a BAD port of a REALLY good set of games. This version was clearly overlooked with a TON of bugs and glitches that at times can completely HALT your progress. Most of the bugs seem to attributed to the frame rate. Anything over 120 FPS will cause control issues with Spyro. Anything above 30 will cause progress halting bugs with some characters. There is also a plethora of control issues where inputs simply stop recognizing causing Spyro to fall and die. There is just about 0 reasons to play this version o...

I love Spyro 1. I like Ripto's Rage. I'm lukewarm on Year of the Dragon. My experience with this port is mostly good/fine. There's a bug in Spyro 1 where one of the levels can't be finished unless you set your fps to 30. This is easy enough to do, obviously, but you have to do it. Every. Single. Time. It's too bad it will never be fixed. Other than that, I think everything's pretty good. The option to use the original soundtrack is PEAK. I recommend.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is the remastered version of the original three games: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro: Ripto Rage, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon, and they look wonderful with such vivid colors; every character looks amazing, the same as with the many realms that you explore that are full of life and beauty, and yes, the combat is really basic, but it doesn't matter because it's fun. You are here to play a childhood classic and one of the best platformer games and mascots ever created we are know that Spyro the Dragon is timeless!!!!

This game is broken - you have to remove the opening sequence files just to make it start, and some achievements feel a bit bugged. Regardless, this is a very, very fun game and normally quite stable

A really good remake of the original games. Some of the most fun I've had playing a video game. It was an absolute blast to play through all 3 games. Each game builds upon the last. The worldbuilding is great, level design is simple but effective and the graphics are absolutely stunning. It was very fun to collect everything and 100% the game. I can definitely recommend this game.

Great game, not the best of ports due to some bugs. But with some tweaking its worth every bit spent on it. Hopefully this fix works for you as it did me. I spent about much time as I needed to make sure this game was as playable and as enjoyable as I remember it being on Switch and PS4. At the time of writing, you WILL encounter a major progress bug in Alpine Ridge if you have "incorrect" frame rate caps. Most people will open their settings and switch to 30FPS to fix this, and allow the Druid to cast their magics correctly to progress forward. Though I sought for a much more enjoyable solution. Another major bug is player sliding. Playing at anything above 60FPS will likely cause some minor player sliding and movement error, anything above 120-140FPS will cause Spyro to slide indefinitely on the ground without any inputs. This is what I had to do to fix it all in one go and just enjoy the game: 1. lock your maximum FPS to 60 for Spyro Reigninited within NVIDIA control panel unde...

I had all of my wisdom teeth removed and the recovery was so bad I had to basically sit at home on some decent painkillers for 2 weeks. Not being allowed to consume anything solid, just sitting and coping with the pain while trying to lose myself in distractions, coupled with the shame and guilt of not being at work, was a fairly miserable experience.. except for my time in Spyro. Playing Spyro, on painkillers, as a 30 year old, was an entirely new height of nirvana for me. it was ******* incredible, I love these games.
